Poop, in case you where wondering, he had his first little poop today around 1:30, Daddy Ryan changed his diaper with some assistance from Auntie Izzy and Grandma. Right after Ryan changed him he pooped again. Through the whole process he didn’t cry once, he just looked around (he’s such a calm and content baby).  Right now Momma, Daddy and baby are all napping.

Just in case you missed it baby was born 8 pounds 3 oz and he’s 21 inches long and still no baby name(he’s just baby for now).

Wanted to let everyone know that they will be having a 24 hour nesting period with their new son. But we will keep you posted, so don’t worry.

I bet you are all wondering what the little Muff is, although I have the urge to make you all suffer a little more, I’ll spill the beans and say “Welcome to the world Mr.Muff”. He is beautiful, he’s long, and has dark hair, he looks a lot like Ryan. Ariesa is doing really great, feeling a bit tired and worn out but she’s loving baby. He already started breastfeeding and according to the mid-wife he’s advanced, (of course already a smarty pants). He’s perfect, he’s so beautiful and I’m just in the other room and I already miss him.

We haven’t measured him or weighed him yet, so that’s all for now, all is well in the Muff house, thanks for all the good thoughts.

Ariesa has consumed her castor oil milkshake, and Audrey is ready to head over as soon as we get some regular contractions.

Everything is looking good and moving right along. We came home and had breakfast after our morning appointment (oatmeal for me and a chili omelet for Ryan). We hung out for a bit and  took a long nap (almost three hours!). Afterwards, we went for a walk on the Chehalis Western trail. I had a few small contractions on the way back. Grandma Marlene and Aunt Rochea brought us dinner, so we’re about to eat and relax for a while.

Update: Dinner was delicious! Thank you again :).

We have an 8am appointment with our lovely midwife to see where I am and what baby is up to.  And at 2pm, a routine 42-week ultrasound to check amniotic  fluid and whatnot. Less sleep and feeling pretty crampy this morning. THIS MIGHT BE IT!!! We will post again this afternoon when we get back :).

Didn’t sleep much last night, and baby spent much of the time wiggling and stretching under my ribs. Hoping to get a break in the weather so that we can go for a walk, a long, vigorous walk.
